yesterday i went to my sister's office in PCB Resort. it is Pantai Cahaya Bulan or formerly known as Pantai Cinta Berahi. it is just 11km from Kota Bharu. from my house, using the short cut, it is only 20-30 minutes.

the rocky beach. the sand is not as fine and as soft as at the beaches in Terengganu but it is lovely still
the road here, from KB, meanders through out many quaint villages dotted with fascinating cottage industries. you can see batik clothes hanging outside the small shops, songkets and silver crafts shops along the road.
meanwhile, if you're using the short cut at the airport, you can see local houses with kids playing around along the quite narrow road. you can even experience driving in a car crossing a small river on a wooden bridge like this...

after she finished her work, we went for minum-minum by the beach. it is at Restoran Cinta Selera. from the resort, you turn right, facing the sea, and then turn left. the restaurant is along the road, on your left. it is beside the Cinta Craft. they serve snacks (cucuk-cucuk) and hot dishes.
cucuk-cucuk with delicious sauce. only rm11 and rojak buah from the vendor, rm2 (this one is already half way eaten). i had a glass of orange juice and my sister had a mug of hot tea. overall, it costs only rm13.(minus the rojak)
after that, before we went home, i saw people fishing. so you can also try your luck here!
