relief

yip yip! i'm done translating two sets of tedious research proposals. i am okay with translating but this is a medical students' paper! pecah kepala! there are some medical terms that i am not sure if they have it in Malay. i went online to look for it but ended up in vain. one paper is about diabetes and another one is about cerebral concussion and fracture of what femur, i can' t remember the title because my cerebral is too tired to recall or to capture anything from the paper clearly! (eceh..)

femur
Vascular Intima
Atheroma
tryglycerides
astherosclerosis
stenosis
demylination

those are the physicians and nurses and hospital people know more about. you know it? i don't. go google it yourself because i'm done google-ing thinking that there are words in Malay for that because there are some terms written in Malay. i know that some terms can't be changed but well, to help me understand it better, google is the master :) by the way, these are just some of them.

but the good thing learn from this is of course, munny doesn't come easily. doing your work, whether you like it or not, will help you to gain some munny. (i hate doing this because it is like doing an assignment but i did it for the sake of that extrinsict motivation. ngeh3).

but the most valuable thing that i got from doing these papers is about the deseases. now i know exactly about diebetes. (i don't bother to google about it before until i'm doing this paper). i know about the earliest prenventions, the significance of having diabetic education among the patients itself, rather than just the health care, and how actually it happens. it is very useful! :)

however, there is one thing that hindered me from doing it
(for the diabetic paper, it has been with me for almost two weeks). it is the attidtude of the 'researcher'. do you copy your infromation form other sources? or we might say it as refer to? yes, when doing my assignments, i refer to the reliable sources but i did'nt copy it BULAT-BULAT (pengakuan yang berani). it's either i rephrase it or take some ideas here and there and of course, i recite the authors. PLIAGARISM? me don't like!
the problem with those papers is, they use resources, good. they recite them, good. they don't know what they are copying, so not good! when i read each paragraph, i'd go completely confused. is it related or not? and for a moment, i wonder is it because it is a medical paper that i don't know much about or is it because the contents are not actually coherent?? wu wu wu~ thus, i had to do some editting again and i'm going to charge them more. but you know, here in Kelantan, the cost of living is quite low than other places. so if i want to charge them rm4 per page, jawabnya buat muka la kot. or i will gulung tikar la
(macam buat bisnes besar je..). the other day, i charged them rm1 per page for editting which i had to do tons of editting as if i am doing the paper myself. for this one, i don't know yet. haven't negotiated with the nurses yet. hopefully they'll understand kan.

i want to have that black blouse! :(

the moral of the story is/are:

1. do not plagiarize bulat-bulat in your assignment.
2. do things that you like, but if you are so desperately need the munny, just do it. motivate yourself okay? chaiyok!!
3. beranikanlah diri untuk charge lebih if you deserve it (i'm gathering all my guts from all the people of the world to do this when they come collect their papers :P)
