walking down the lorong kenangan

i was checking out the UiTM students portal to check on my new registration. Well, just to make sure that i don't miss anything there. But as i opened the new browser for all the subjects I've taken through out the 4 years, bunches of funny things and humiliation came across my mind. Hehs!

Semester 1

• Foundation of Education - we called it FOE. Dr. Burn taught us this subject. If I'm not mistaken, we learnt about the history of edu in Malaysia. Types of schools, the era of colonialism. so boring!
• Introduction to Guidance and Counseling- i felt like a pro at first. You know, counselor, problem solver. hah! the lecturer, MAMA. hahahaha! i think for half of the semester we didn't have class! And at least, B is in your hand. lol!
• Computers in Education - MS. J. Easy. We had to build our own website. And learnt about other features in Microsoft Word. Fun!
• Literature in English - i forgot who taught this. i think it was gorgeous Mdm. Adzura Elier. I love Literature! Especially the poems. But i did not finish the thick novel - East of Eden by John Steinback. i like reading, but don't really love it. haha~
  
• Linguistic in Language Teaching - hurrmm..Mr. Kieran taught us this..best! seronok dengar dia cakap. he he he. Language is arbitrary.
• Islamic and Asian Civilization - the ustazah was prejudice towards some of my friends. humph. not really my cuppa tea!

Semester 2

• Ethnics Relation - (?) totally forgot about this. wth is this?
• Edu in Malaysia - charming Sir Faiz. hehehe...cakap jowo!
• Edu Sociology - interesting subject but the lecturer only spoke to the fronters
• Principles and Practice in English Language Teaching (PELTS) - Puan Maftuhah Damio. i just knew that she was a former teacher at SMKPBK, my prac school! our class was like a primary school classes. so nice!
• Structure of English - hurmm.. sape ajar ek? lupa. heheh
• Literature in Malaysian School - Ms. J. we studied the form 1-3 and form 4&5 Lit textbooks. uiks!

semester 3

• National Kesatria 1 - hahaha! the funniest! kene kawad. dah besar-besar pun kene kawad ke?? i skipped the camping. i have had enough camping days during my school days ok.
• French Language 1 - comment ca va? tres bien! et toi?? hahaha..madamme Azlina!
• Applied Phonetics and Phonology - not a very enjoyable class. we were like chickens in her class. what's her name eh??
  
• Report Writing - free time! free time! Sexy Mega...hahaha! her name is Dr. Megawati and she's sexay. =)
• Educational Psychology - Dr. Nabilah..hahah.. i remember being so dumb when she explained about this one part of Bandura's Theory. aiiyo!! bebal!
• Micro counseling : counseling skills - again, i think it was mama's class. expect the expectations. haha
• Oral Communication - speeching class. not speaking class. by Puan Lele Suzanna. am i spelling her name correctly? because that's the way we always pronounce it. =)
  

semester 4

• Principles of Testing and Evaluation - 14 divided by 2 = 7.5! congrats to me and eapa. especially ME. this is like a culculation class. ppheww!!
• Meetings - the name tells everything about it.
• French Language II - sucre, fromage, le lait, l'eau, le poulet. we learnt about foods! yummmy!
• Gamelan - not game plan! here, i learnt how to play bonang, and all the gamelan traditional instruments. i forgot the names lah. fantastic! i felt fantastic when i got to know how to play those things!
• Methodology in Teaching Listening and Speaking - not bad
• Macro counseling - i think it was Prof Madya Hjh Zaiton. i never get A for her paper! haha..i event meracau in her class. two things that eapa will never forget are, when i said to Pn. Zaiton in her class, "Puan, tolong perlahankan sket aircond nak?" and while lepaking with her, i accidentally said, "alaaa.. paper aku yang Mak Eton amik tu!!" yeah rite. she's taking my paper huh? it deserves me right none-A for her papers! hahahaha!

semester 5

• Introduction to Research Methodolgy - currently applying what i've learnt from this class
• Curruculum and instruction - Dr. Burn..huhuhu..interesting lesson!
• Methodology in Teaching Reading - Hell! bad memories =/
• French - final part for 3rd language. still can't speak in french fluently! haiseh!
• Sociolinguistics for Language Teachers - Dr. Richard Holmes. the British who can speak Terengganu
• School Counseling - lots of going to school organizing events! so tiring but fun! =)
• Multicultural Counseling - lucky Pn. Siti Hawa. i remember she called me and eapa the back benchers. because we always sit at the last row in her class. but she said, in the US parliament, backbenchers are the most powerful speakers. hahaha! so wrong!
  

semester 6

• Group Counseling - pun best jugak. events events events!
• Adolescent and Human Development - studying about babies, teenagers, and humans la. i got to know on how to manage my kids later from this class. huhu~
• Classroom Management - funny! funny! hahaha..the only class where we got the chance to do our powerpoint slide with glitters, gifs and colors! hahaha..and fun time too! nothing serious.kiddos! but on the next semester, we found out the lecturer is actually a BIG shot in Language Department! hahaha!
• Methodology in Teaching Literature - Cute mdm. Lim Wai Fun. she makes lit fun! but i failed to make it fun to my students! haha!
• Methodology in Teaching Grammar - Ms. Shima. the prey for the gatals eyes of the boys in her classes. haiyo!
• Second Language Acquisition - Fabulous Mdm. Adzura Elier again. presentation class. and fun! FUNNY at odd times!
• Methodoloy in Teaching Writing - also not a very good experience. we were again like chickens! hahaha!

semester 7
this is where all the lessons learnt to be put into practises! PRACTICUM!! I went to Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Perempuan Bukit Kuda, Klang. hahaha.. all the sugars and dunks are here. everything was tested, recalled, applied, you name it. so tiring, but after all, it was such a good experience being thrown into a strange new pwople - the school and the students. despite all the shits!

it is a month away and i don't think i need to think about it YET. But I am damn sure that the counseling papers will be a
GREAT GILA TIME!!
